From Stage to Table: Capturing the Spirit of Wicked in Shetland

As a local photographer, I always enjoy capturing projects that bring creativity and imagination to life here in Shetland. My recent shoot with Blyde Welcome was exactly that — a vibrant, theatrical twist on afternoon tea inspired by the world of Wicked, perfectly timed with the release of the new Wicked: For Good film later this month.

The stars of the show — Blyde Welcome’s Wicked Macarons.

From emerald-hued macarons to shimmering sweets and whimsical Oz-inspired details, every element was beautifully styled and full of charm.

At the heart of it all are the Wicked Macarons, the stars of Blyde Welcome’s Wickedly Good Afternoon Tea. Their bold colours and playful presentation perfectly capture the spirit of the theme. The Blyde Welcome team had done an amazing job with the styling which made for some great photography.

The Wickedly Good Afternoon Tea runs from Saturday 15 November to Tuesday 23 December, priced at £30 per person (minimum booking of four).

Click your heels and book your table, because there’s no place like Blyde Welcome!
