A New Chapter for Scholes Chartered Accountants in Lerwick
I recently had the pleasure of photographing for Scholes Chartered Accountants as they took over RSM UK’s Lerwick office – a move described by Scholes as a “major statement of intent” in Shetland.
For this project, the individual staff portraits were photographed in black and white, inkeeping with the clean, professional style featured on the Scholes website.

The acquisition expands Scholes’ team by a third and strengthens their presence across Scotland, with offices now in Kirkwall, Lerwick, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Laurencekirk.
Having photographed for RSM UK in the past, it was great to see some familiar faces again and to capture this next step in their journey.
The office will continue to serve clients as part of the wider Scholes network, bringing together shared values and local expertise.
The Lerwick office is located in the iconic St Olaf’s Hall, a building that’s long been part of the town’s character since 1840.
