Digital Advent Calendar - Day 10

Today's tip is to do with backing up your images.If you store ALL your digital images on your PC, and you've not got them backed up, then you need to take action.  If your hard drive crashes then you've lost years and years of precious photos.  Therefore, get yourself an external hard-drive, pen drive or archival DVDs and start backing up today.  Ideally you should have your backup in a different location to the original.I use a program called Acronis True Image Home which will backup and create a mirror image of one hard drive to another at scheduled intervals.  Rather than do a separate backup everytime, Acronis will analyse the disk only making changes since the last update thus saving backup time.  More information on the program can be found here.
