Studio Launch at Ben Mullay Photography
I am thrilled to share with you some preview photographs of the Ben Mullay Photography Studio! It is now up, running and officially open for business at my home in Scalloway and I couldn’t be more pleased to realise my ambition of having my own, dedicated space to all things photography.
In true Shetland style, word of mouth has overtaken our official studio launch and I’m delighted that so many people have already been in touch to make bookings - we have had many clients in the studio over the last few months. Nevertheless, I wanted to mark this moment of launch officially on my blog and social media channels as it has been my aspiration for more years than I care to remember to have my own studio space – and I must say, I’m delighted with how it has turned out.
The studio is spacious, light and airy and has all that we need to provide a wide range of photography across a multitude of styles and for all occasions – we have photographed everything from newborns to graduates, business professionals to musicians already and I’m grateful to all of those clients who have offered positive feedback on the space and the experience.
As well as having an abundance of natural light, the studio even features a balcony area with a view of Scalloway Castle for when you want to take a breather, through the double set of patio doors which we have had frosted with my logo by Shetland Times Studio Design & Print Shop who did a brilliant job. I’ve invested in several new pieces of kit and studio equipment and finished off the space with some homely touches which I feel has made it a lovely space in which to relax, whether to enjoy a photo session or meet over a coffee to plan your big day or business shots.
I’m now in the process of putting together a new range of studio packages based on queries and feedback from clients, including a baby’s first year package, many of which complement the photography packages already available from Ben Mullay Photography.
