Valleyfield Guest House, Chalets and Cafe

I recently took a series of images for Valleyfield Guest House to feature on their new website, social media and promotional materials.

Located just south of Brae, the guest house is ideally positioned for anyone looking for accommodation in the north mainland. This would also be an ideal place for business clients working at Sullom Voe Oil Terminal or Shetland Gas Plant, for example.

Valleyfield is not just a place to rest your head at night, though - they are open from Wednesday-Sunday as a cafe for non-guests providing a wide range of delicious foods from breakfast waffles to reestit mutton tattie soup!

Valleyfield strucky me as a spotlessly clean, homely and comfortable space with good attention to detail, with ample parking. Take a look at their Facebook page and I know you'll be tempted to visit the cafe and test out their home bakes!

Despite being on the edge of Brae, Valleyfield is at the centre of community events, with recent festivities for Halloween, crafts for sale, as well as catering for birthdays and other special occasions. The good people at Valleyfield can also provide occasion cakes for your special event - just contact them with your requirements.

Key features:

  • 12 en-suite bedrooms, all with TVs and free WiFi.

  • The lounge has the full Sky TV package with a link to all bedrooms.

  • 3 x two-bedroomed chalets located at the guesthouse, and three-, four- and five-bedroomed houses located throughout Brae.

  • Get in touch by phoning 01806 522 563 or 07818258398, emailing valleyfieldguesthouse@hotmail.co.uk or on Facebook.
