When changing lenses on your digital SLR then ensure you keep your camera tilted downwards to prevent dust getting on the camera's sensor.  Furthermore, don't leave your camera body uncovered for any length of time by changing lenses quickly or use the body cap.Any dust on the digital sensor will show up on your images which will require labour intensive cloning.
