Digital Advent Calendar - Day 13

For those with Digital SLR cameras then keep an eye on your manufacturer's support site for any update to the camera's firmware.  Firmware is essentially your camera's inbuilt software.  Any glitches in the firmware will be remedied with updates from the manufacturer.  This will usually involve downloading a file, transferring it to your memory card, inserting the card into the camera and installing the updated firmware.
