NewsFLASH # 1

Epson

Was looking at the Epson website today and notice it’s had a major revamp.  I was particuarly impressed with the layout of the different products.  The product descriptions are in a very large font making it extremely easy to read.  There are also customer reviews which will help if you’re considering buying.

For work I use the Epson Perfection V700 which I can’t praise enough.  Despite being able to scan film up to 6400 dots per inch (dpi), it includes all the magazines required to scan large format negatives which is not available with lower-end models.

If you are considering archiving all your old slides, negatives and photographs then this is the scanner for the job.  It doesn’t come cheap at R.R.P. £469.78 but you’re getting a seriously good piece of kit.
