Studio Portait Session – Derek & Irene Smith’s Golden Wedding Present
Pictured above is an image I shot in the studio recently of Derek and Irene Smith from Cunningsburgh’s Grandchildren. The image was a present for their Golden Wedding which the couple celebrated recently at The Lerwick Hotel. A sincere congratulations to the couple for reaching this milestone and best wishes for the future.

Tall Ships Races 2011 – Archive Collection #2
Pictured above is another photograph from 1999 when the Tall Ships departed Lerwick Harbour. I’m not sure of the ship’s name but this image was one of my favourite from the set.

Was down at Sumburgh Head recently and managed to capture this image in the beautiful evening light.
News
Islesburgh Photographic Club currently have an exhibition on at the Shetland Museum & Archives in Da Gadderie. The title of the display is ‘Four Seasons in Shetland’. I went along on Saturday to see the launch and there are plenty of good images on view so would recommend visiting. The exhibition runs until the 10th October 2010.
