Out & About # 8 - Hunstanton

Have been down in Hunstanton, Norfolk this weekend at the Swains trade show putting in our order for Christmas stock.

The one product that stood out for me was the JVC Picsio GC-FM1 Camcorder.  It is no bigger than a cigarette packet, offers full HD (1920 x 1080) and can take 8 megapixel still images.  Rumoured to be around a bargain price of £179.99, I think these will be very popular this Christmas.  Keep an eye over at The Camera Centre’s camcorder selection here for arrival of this innovative new gadget.

As always I had my camera with me so I nipped down to the beach before the show started for a few quick shots.

The photo below reminded me of The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini which I have just finished reading.  A four hour wait in Manchester Airport was the perfect opportunity to finish this epic story.  However, on my return I watched the film and it was a major let down considering how powerful the book was.

On the horizon you can see the large-scale wind farm.  With the big debate surrounding the proposed wind farm in Shetland on it’s location and size, surely mimicking the setup here would be a viable alternative?  For a more in-depth perspective on current developments visit the dedicated Shetlink forum here.
